Privacy policy
Last updated 31 October 2026. This policy covers Atlas, the product of Superhuman Systems, and this website.
What Atlas is
Atlas gives every employee of an organisation an agent built from the organisation's own meetings and tools. An organisation runs Atlas in its own, isolated environment in the cloud region it chooses. Each employee decides which of their tools Atlas may read.
What Atlas reads, and from where
Atlas reads only from tools an organisation or an employee connects, and only what they choose. An employee connects their own accounts; an organisation's admin connects shared ones.
- Google Calendar: the events of the calendars the employee chooses, with their time, title, attendees and organiser. Atlas does not read event descriptions.
- Google Drive: the names, folders and sharing of files in the drives and folders the employee chooses, and the text of those files only after the employee allows it separately.
- Meeting notetakers such as Fireflies: the transcripts of meetings the employee recorded or attended.
- Slack, Jira and Notion: the channels, projects and pages the organisation chooses.
Atlas's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information from Google APIs is used only to provide Atlas's features to the organisation that connected it; it is never used for advertising, never sold, and never read by a person at Superhuman Systems except to fix a problem the organisation asks us to fix.
What Atlas keeps out
Atlas extracts professional facts: projects, decisions, action points, who knows what. It never extracts or stores anything about a person's private life, health, emotions, protected characteristics or HR matters, and it never scores, ranks or rates people. Anything of that kind is removed before it is stored.
Who can see what
What is said in a meeting or written in a document stays visible to the people who were in it or may read it in its tool. Knowledge from non-confidential sources is shared across the organisation. Atlas never widens access beyond what the source allows.
Where it is kept
Each organisation's data lives in its own environment on Amazon Web Services and Databricks, in the region the organisation chose, encrypted at rest and in transit. Nothing is shared between organisations, and no model is trained on one organisation's data for another.
How long, and how to stop
A connection's credentials are kept only while the connection is active. Disconnecting a tool in Atlas deletes the stored access at once; an employee can also revoke Atlas in their Google account's connected apps, and Atlas stops reading from that moment. An organisation can ask for everything Atlas read from a tool to be removed, and for its whole environment to be deleted when it leaves.
