Atlas for Jira
Each employee connects their own Atlassian account. Atlas reads the issues, epics, versions and status changes of the Jira projects you choose, and nothing from the others. The first sync reaches back up to six months.
How to connect
- Sign in to Atlas and open Connections.
- On Jira, click Connect with Atlassian and approve. The Atlassian account must be your own work account; Atlas uses the first Jira site that account can open.
- Choose the projects Atlas may read.
What Atlas does with it
Atlas treats a Jira project as a project and its epics as sub-projects, so issues and their status changes show up on the right project timeline, each naming the issue it came from. When an employee approves an update in Atlas, Atlas can create or update an issue as that employee; it never writes on its own.
How to stop
Click Disconnect on Jira in Atlas, or revoke Atlas under your Atlassian account's connected apps. Either deletes the stored access at once, and Atlas stops reading from that moment.
