Common questions

Atlas does not read a channel I chose. A private channel needs the Atlas app added to it in Slack; public channels are joined automatically. Atlas reads once a day, and the Connections page shows each connection's last sync and any error.

How do I stop Atlas reading a tool? Click Disconnect on that tool in Atlas. For Slack, an admin can also remove the app in Slack's app settings. The stored access is deleted at once.

How do I delete what Atlas read? Ask us at the address above. We remove everything Atlas read from the tool, and an organisation that leaves has its whole environment deleted.

Who can see what Atlas extracted? The same people who could read the source. What was said in a private channel or a confidential meeting stays with the people who were in it; knowledge from non-confidential sources is shared across the organisation.

Where is our data kept? In your organisation's own environment, in the region you chose, encrypted at rest and in transit. Details: Privacy policy.

How do I install Atlas in Slack? See Atlas for Slack.
